By federal law, the Fair Credit Reporting Act gives consumers the right to a free copy of their credit report from each of the three major credit reporting agencies (Experian™, Equifax™ and TransUnion™) once every 12 months per credit reporting agency. These credit reports do not include credit scores, however they may be available for purchase for a nominal fee.
