Refund & Cancellation Policy

We at NationalCreditReport.com™ are thankful for your business. We know that you have many choices when shopping for Credit Reporting, Credit Scores and Credit Monitoring services and we appreciate that you have chosen to do business with NationalCreditReport.com™.

The following paragraphs define our refund and cancellation policies. We hope that you will understand our policies and procedures in reference to processing refunds and cancellations. Please note that once you complete the order process, the request is made immediately to retrieve your credit report(s) and credit score(s) from one or all three of the Credit Reporting agencies (depending on which product you ordered) and we are charged at that specific moment in time to provide you access to your Credit Reports, Credit Scores and Credit Monitoring Services.

Please note that for the reasons stated above that no refunds will be issued for anyone who has already been granted access to their Credit Report(s) and Credit Score(s) that did not observe the cancellation timeline as stated in the free offer details as seen on the home page of the website, in the shopping cart upon ordering, in the terms and conditions that you agreed to upon registration and as seen in this section of the refund and cancellation policy.

If you did not complete your registration at the time of enrollment then your account was never established and there is no refund to issue and no account to cancel.

Accuracy of Credit Report/Credit Score Data
We make no claims as to the accuracy or usefulness of the data contained in your Credit Report(s) or Credit Score(s). We are simply providing you the consumer with an easy-to-read, formatted copy of the information currently contained in your credit files, as provided by Experian™, Equifax™, and TransUnion™.

NationalCreditReport.com™ has no control over the information contained in consumer credit files and no refunds will be made for incorrectly reported information. However, as a part of our service to our customers, we can help you correct any inaccuracies that may be found in your credit report. If you would like us to help you, please call us at 1.888.887.4287 (Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Eastern Standard Time, excluding holidays) and one of our Credit Advisory Agents will be more than happy to help you correct any inaccuracies that might be found in your report.

Credit Reporting Agencies Refusal to Release Report
There are rare cases where one or more of the Credit Reporting agencies may have conflicting information in their credit file than the information provided by the consumer via registration or via the online authentication process. If such is the case, the Credit Reporting agency may refuse to release the information to us to provide to you. If and when this happens you can call our toll free number at 1.888.887.4287 (Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Eastern Standard Time, excluding holidays) and follow the prompts to manually authenticate with the Credit Reporting agencies via phone. If an issue still exists after manual authentication, you will be required to contact the non-responding Credit Reporting agencies directly to resolve the discrepancy.

I failed to complete or did not pass the authentication process. Will I be eligible for a refund?
Once your complete your online registration, you will be sent 2 email notifications from us that contain your user name and password. Simply follow the instructions in these emails to log on to the site. Once you log on to the site, you will be asked a short series of identification questions as served up from the credit reporting agencies to verify your identity. If for some reason you do not answer some of all of these questions correctly online, you will be prompted to call us at 1.888.887.4287 (Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Eastern Standard Time, excluding holidays) to complete the authentication process manually via telephone. If you do not attempt to complete the authentication process either online or manually, you will not be eligible for a refund.

If a representative is unable to complete your authentication process and your Credit Report and/or Credit Score was never requested from any of the Credit Reporting agencies, a refund may be given.

Please note if this is the case and you call us before your free trial expires then there is no refund to give because you have not been charged yet.

I tried to purchase a Credit Report for someone other than myself and failed the authentication process.
When you placed your order, you agreed to the following:

"Under FCRA laws, any person who knowingly and willfully obtains a Credit Report under false pretenses (for example getting a Credit Report on an individual without their permission), shall be fined under title 18, United States Code, imprisoned not more than 2 years, or both."

We are not authorized to provide Credit Reports for anyone other than the consumer requesting their Credit Report. In other words, we cannot provide reports to anyone for any business purposes; for your ex-spouse; etc. The person whose report was ordered must contact our customer service department at 1.888.887.4287 (Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Eastern Standard Time, excluding holidays).

Charge backs
If we receive a charge back notification from your bank or Credit Card Company we will fully cooperate with their request to provide proof of your online order. Such proof of your order as requested by your bank or Credit Card Company may include your name, address, email address, phone number, last four digits of card used to enroll in the program, type of card used, expiration date, time and date stamp of your order as well as the IP address of the computer that you used to place the order. In addition we will also provide proof that you clicked on and accepted the terms and conditions of the offer when you enrolled in the program. Detailed screen shots of your order will be shared to prove that you did in fact place the order.

Please do not issue a charge back as a method of dispute as proof of your order (as seen in the above paragraph) to your requesting bank or Credit Card Company usually results in a charge back reversal. (i.e. meaning that your bank or Credit Card Company will rule in our favor, not yours).

If you feel the need to issue a charge back we encourage you to call our customer service team first at 1.888.887.4287 (Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Eastern Standard Time, excluding holidays) so that we may have an opportunity to address and resolve any specific questions or issues that you may have.

Overdraft Fees
NationalCreditReport.com™ is not responsible for any overdraft/over-the-limit charges or bank fees if your account contains insufficient funds when your order is processed and billed. These fees are your responsibility and will not be refunded.

What is the condition where I am eligible for a refund?
The only situation where a refund may be given is in the unlikely scenario that you do not pass the online AND manual authentication process.

Cancellation Information
You may cancel your Credit Monitoring™ membership at any time; however, you will not be eligible for a pro-rated refund of any portion of your current month's paid membership fee.

Under FCRA laws any person who knowingly and willfully obtains a Credit Report under false pretenses (for example getting a Credit Report on an individual without their permission), shall be fined under title 18, United States Code, imprisoned not more than 2 years, or both. ANYONE VIOLATING THIS AGREEMENT WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE FOR A REFUND.
