Refund & Cancellation Policy

We at NationalCreditReport.com® are thankful for your business. We know that you have many choices when shopping for Credit Reporting, Credit Scores and Credit Monitoring services and we appreciate that you have chosen to do business with NationalCreditReport.com®.

The following paragraphs define our refund and cancellation policies. We hope that you will understand our policies and procedures in reference to processing refunds and cancellations. Please note that once you complete the order process, the request is made immediately to retrieve your credit report(s) and credit score(s) from one or all three of the Credit Reporting agencies (depending on which product you ordered) and we are charged at that specific moment in time to provide you access to your Credit Reports, Credit Scores and Credit Monitoring Services.

Please note that for the reasons stated above that no refunds will be issued for anyone who has already been granted access to their Credit Report(s) and Credit Score(s). The only condition in which a refund will be granted will be in the case in which a customer could not authenticate and therefore was not granted access to their credit report.

If you did not complete your registration at the time of enrollment then your account was never established and there is no refund to issue and no account to cancel.

Accuracy of Credit Report/Credit Score Data
We make no claims as to the accuracy or usefulness of the data contained in your Credit Report(s) or Credit Score(s). We are simply providing you the consumer with an easy-to-read, formatted copy of the information currently contained in your credit files, as provided by Experian™, Equifax™, and TransUnion™.

NationalCreditReport.com® has no control over the information contained in consumer credit files and no refunds will be made for incorrectly reported information. However, as a part of our service to our customers, we can help you correct any inaccuracies that may be found in your credit report. If you would like us to help you, please call us at 1.888.887.4287, (Monday-Friday, 9:00a.m. - 7:00p.m., Eastern Standard Time, excluding holidays) and one of our Credit Advisory Agents will be more than happy to help you correct any inaccuracies that might be found in your report.

Credit Reporting Agencies Refusal to Release Reports
There are rare cases where one or more of the Credit Reporting agencies may have conflicting information in their credit file than the information provided by the consumer via registration or via the online authentication process. If such is the case, the Credit Reporting agency may refuse to release the information to us to provide to you. If and when this happens you can call our toll free number at 1.888.887.4287, (Monday-Friday, 9:00a.m. - 7:00p.m., Eastern Standard Time, excluding holidays) and follow the prompts to manually authenticate with the Credit Reporting agencies via phone. If an issue still exists after manual authentication, you will be required to contact the non-responding Credit Reporting agencies directly to resolve the discrepancy.

I tried to purchase a Credit Report for someone other than myself and failed the authentication process.
When you placed your order, you agreed to the following:

"Under FCRA laws, any person who knowingly and willfully obtains a Credit Report under false pretenses (for example getting a Credit Report on an individual without their permission), shall be fined under title 18, United States Code, imprisoned not more than 2 years, or both."

We are not authorized to provide Credit Reports for anyone other than the consumer requesting their Credit Report. In other words, we cannot provide reports to anyone for any business purposes; for your ex-spouse; etc. The person whose report was ordered must contact our customer service department at 1.888.887.4287, (Monday-Friday, 9:00a.m. - 7:00p.m., Eastern Standard Time, excluding holidays).

Overdraft Fees
NationalCreditReport.com® is not responsible for any overdraft/over-the-limit charges or bank fees if your account contains insufficient funds when your order is processed and billed. These fees are your responsibility and will not be refunded.

Cancellation Information
If you are a member of one of our monthly credit monitoring or credit score update programs, you may cancel your membership by calling us at 1.888.887.4287, (Monday-Friday, 9:00a.m. - 7:00p.m., Eastern Standard Time, excluding holidays). Due to the fact that most identity theft and credit fraud takes place electronically, and as another way to help protect our customers from becoming victims of identity theft and credit fraud, we only process cancellations via phone.
